troubleshoot, and repair maintenance issues in occupied homes and apartment communities.\r\nPerform residential plumbing repairs including toilets, flappers, fill valves, faucets, garbage disposals, drain clogs, and shut-off valves.\r\nTroubleshoot and repair basic electrical issues including outlets, switches, GFCIs, breakers, light fixtures, and ceiling fans.\r\nComplete drywall, painting, carpentry, hardware, lock, and door repairs.\r\nPerform appliance troubleshooting and repairs.\r\nConduct preventative maintenance inspections and identify potential issues before they become larger problems.\r\nEnsure all make-ready repairs and services are completed on schedule.\r\nCommunicate professionally and respectfully with residents regarding maintenance concerns and work order status.\r\nSchedule appointments with residents as needed and provide updates throughout the repair process.\r\nFollow up with residents to ensure maintenance concerns have been resolved satisfactorily.\r\nAccurately document completed work orders, notes, and materials used electronically via phone.\r\nMaintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in a clean and professional manner.\r\nFollow all company safety procedures, maintenance policies, and Fair Housing requirements.\r\nParticipate in an after-hours on-call rotation.\r\nRespond to emergency maintenance situations as needed.\r\nRequired QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of hands-on residential maintenance experience.\r\nAbility to independently diagnose and troubleshoot common residential maintenance issues.\r\nExperience performing plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, painting, and general maintenance repairs.\r\nExperience working inside occupied homes, apartments, or residential properties.\r\nStrong customer service and communication skills.\r\nAbility to interact professionally with residents, vendors, coworkers, and property owners.\r\nUnderstanding of the importance of Fair Housing compliance and treating all residents consistently and respectfully.\r\nAbility to use smartphones, tablets, and mobile maintenance software.\r\nValid driver's license and acceptable driving record.\r\nAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day.\r\nPreferred QualificationsProperty management maintenance experience.\r\nHVAC
