Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate, reliable, and experienced Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team. The Lead Toddler Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, loving, and stimulating classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of toddlers. This role includes implementing TLE’s proprietary curriculum, mentoring assistant teachers, and building strong relationships with families.
Qualifications
Required:
Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education OR
CDA Credential for Infant/Toddlers
Previous experience working with toddlers - at least 2 years Strong understanding of toddler development and age-appropriate practices Ability to meet state licensing requirements and center policies CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a toddler classroom in accordance with TLE standards, state regulations, and best practices
Implement The Learning Experience curriculum and daily lesson plans Create a warm, structured, and engaging classroom environment Observe, assess, and document children’s developmental progress Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom at all times Supervise and support assistant teachers and classroom aides Build positive, professional relationships with families through daily communication Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities
