We are seeking a hands-on highly skilled Controller. This role is vital to maintaining our financial integrity and supporting our ongoing growth and success.

Responsibilities Include:
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash management activities.
Partner with Project Managers to validate cost to completion estimates to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
Manage construction specific compliance, including lien waivers and certificates of insurance.
Lead monthly WIP review and provide a deep dive analysis on over/under billings.
Provides quarterly overhead analysis with company leadership and assists in cost reduction measures.
Perform all accounting functions, including AR, AP, and Payroll.
Maintains all accounts.
Coordinate all audits.
Maintain internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
Reconcile all accounts including AR, AP, balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
Partner with the KJC employees and outside IT support on digital improvement transformation for continued advancement of data flow between office and field.
Fixed asset management.
Requirements:
5+ years of proven experience as a Controller in a commercial construction setting.
2 or 4 year Degree in Accounting
Proficiency with construction accounting software (Sage or Foundation).
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and willingness to work additional hours when needed.
Ability to lift 25 lbs. and spend most of the day sitting.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
