If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an Lead Materials Handler in USA Fontana, Ca.\n\nReport to the Production Manager, Lead Materials Handler, is responsible for the movement of materials, supplies, finished products to designated locations and leading a team of employees in completing assigned tasks within the production floor.\n\nWhat a typical day looks like:\n\nOversees the work of assigned team employees.\nAssists with training new department personnel.\nAssists team members with technical issues or problems with given assignments.\nRead production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock, and order priority\nCoordinate efficient flow of materials and products throughout the purchasing, manufacturing and assembly process\nWork with internal departments (purchasing, planning, etc.) and vendors (as needed) to get updated status of materials\nInform production supervisors of material status and consult with supervisor to determine how to resolve outstanding materials that could affect production\nLocate and distribute materials to specified production areas\nMaintain a clean and safe work area\nPerforms other related duties as assigned\n\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nAt least 4 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse management, or other related field\nPrior experience in effectively leading a team of employees preferred.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail\nEfficient time management skills\nGeneral understanding of blueprints, wiring drawings, schematics, or engineering diagrams\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software\n\nWhat the physical requirements are:\n\nProlonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.\nMust be able to lift up to 35 pounds at a time.\nMust wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floor\n\nGB02\n\nWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:\n\nFull range of medical, dental, and vision plans\nLife Insurance\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\nMatching 401(k) Contributions\nVacation and Paid Sick Time\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nApplication Deadline:\n\nApplications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
