Facility Manager

Advanced Turf Solutions is growing! We are seeking a Facility Manager to join our team in Nashville, TN. ATS is a green Industry Distributor offering turf and ornamental fertilizer, chemicals, grass seed, sports turf products, ice melt and accessories to the golf, lawn care, landscape and athletic fields. Exemption Status: Exempt – 50 hours a week Department: Operations, Reports to Regional Operations Manager POSITION SUMMARY The employee in the position will be responsible for making sure the Facility is running safely and efficiently daily in order to support the core business of the organization. The Facility Manager is responsible for making sure all employees understand what their specific jobs are and are given the appropriate training and tools to be successful. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinates Delivery Schedules and review open orders Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout Manages the preventative maintenance of facility equipment and all Company Vehicles Oversees the cleaning of the facility and grounds Fleetmatics Idle Time report Ensures the facility is OSHA complaint at all times in regards to First Aid and Safety Responsible for the hiring, training and terminations of employees Controls and Manages employee schedules and maintains the overtime budget Monitors and Maintains inventory levels Expense Reporting Assist with picking, pulling and checking orders, loading and unloading trucks Help with walk-in/onsite customers Coordination of all shipping and receiving procedures including direct ships Daily Order Entry Track Restricted Use Products KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & WORKING CONDITIONS Multi-Tasking Time Management Customer Service Communication Interpersonal and Relationship Building externally and internally Project Management Positive Attitude Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Great Plains, Salespad QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Turf Management, Agronomics, Business Administration or an equivalent degree Forklift Trainer Certification 3-5 years in a Multi-location management position 1-3 years Warehouse experience Valid Driver’s License Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
