HVAC Install Technician

Position Summary The HVAC Install Technician works primarily in residential settings performing installation, replacement, and fit-out work on HVAC systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Technicians regularly work with customers, dispatchers, management, office personnel, and fellow technicians to maintain a high level of teamwork and morale. Pay Range $28.00 - $44.00 per hour Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, certifications, and overall qualifications. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesInstall HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and related equipmentInstall and repair ductwork as needed to ensure proper airflow and ventilationTest HVAC systems to ensure proper functionality and efficiency after installationServe as a trusted advisor by recommending appropriate upgrades and solutionsProvide exceptional customer service and explain equipment and maintenance recommendationsMaintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and issues encounteredFollow OSHA, NFPA 70E, and company safety guidelines at all timesPromote and follow building, job site, and department procedures and policiesMaintain a clean, organized, and mechanically sound company vehicleParticipate in ongoing training and professional development opportunitiesOperate a company vehicle to perform installation jobs for customer needsPerform other duties as assigned QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredFive or more years of related HVAC installation experience preferredTechnical school training or equivalent work experience preferredValid driver's license with clean driving record requiredEPA Certification preferredAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprintsStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamComfortable using smartphones and tablets for job-related tasksMust provide own hand tools Physical Requirements This position requires regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and use of hands and arms. Employees must be able to occasionally lift equipment, tools, and supplies up to 50 pounds and work in a variety of residential environments.
