A growing availability of technology solutions and person centered supports assists Progress Inc. with this mission.\nJob Summary\nEnabling / Assistive Technology (ex. medication dispensers, vibrating fire alarms, video monitoring, etc.) geared toward supporting individuals with various disabilities continues to advance and become available. Progress is seeking the best candidate to lead us through a credentialling process. This process is to become a certified vendor recognized by the three main Managed Care Organizations (BlueCare, United, Wellpoint), who provide referrals and coordinate services for the individuals needing supports.\nBecoming a credentialed vendor will enable Progress to provide and service these technologies ourselves to those in need throughout our service area. The MCOs are the entities that provide referrals for services for disability technology thus it requires that we first meet their credentialling standards. In addition to the credentialling piece, once Progress is considered a credentialled vendor, an onsite Assistive Technology 'Lab' will be where technologies are showcased and serviced from.\nThe Enabling Technology Implementation Specialist role would be likely seen as a part-time role that once credentialling was completed would open the need for a full-time person to manage the vendor functions and onsite tech lab.\n*Salary within range posted is negotiable dependent upon relevant experience\nDuties\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams (tech vendors, MCOs, individuals with intellectual disabilities, Progress management team)\nPolicy and procedure development relevant to enabling technologies and their role and impact with other operations.\nProject management through selecting and matching appropriate technologies with all stakeholders.
