Mergers and Acquisitions Director

This position is in the St Louis, MO area We are recruiting for a strategic and results-driven Acquisitions Intergration Director to lead ntegrations and enterprise-wide strategic initiatives across a dynamic manufacturing and operations environment.This high-impact leadership role partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and IT to drive alignment, execution, and measurable business value. The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, operational leadership, and the ability to manage complex initiatives in fast-paced environments.Specifically, this position will:Lead end-to-end acquisition integrations from pre-close planning through execution and synergy realizationDevelop and enhance integration playbooks, processes, tools, and best practicesCoordinate cross-functional teams, project timelines, risks, and dependenciesMaintain KPIs, dashboards, and executive-level reportingIdentify and deliver operational, commercial, and back-office synergiesTrack financial performance and integration targets in partnership with FinanceDrive accountability and execution across integration workstreamsLead communication and change management efforts during integrations and strategic initiativesSupport cultural alignment, organizational transitions, and talent integrationEstablish governance structures to ensure operational continuity and successful executionLead high-priority business initiatives including operational improvements, transformation programs, and growth strategiesManage multiple concurrent projects using structured problem-solving and execution disciplineFacilitate cross-functional collaboration and executive decision-makingCandidates should possess:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field7–15+ years of experience in M&A integration, strategic initiatives, consulting, corporate development, and operational leadershipProven success leading acquisition integrations and complex cross-functional programsStrong financial, operational, and project management skillsIndustrial manufacturing or engineered products environmentsMulti-site operations leadershipERP systems and complex manufacturing operationsOperations, supply chain, or commercial leadership experienceTravel required: approximately 25–40% based on business needs Candidates must be willing to relocate to the greater St Louis areaThis position offers salary and bonus, along with full benefits.
