We work hard, play harder, embrace authenticity, and always support one another to achieve our goals.\n\nLocation: 11505 38th St S, Horace, ND 58047\nSchedule: 11:00pm - 7:30am (Mon-Friday)\nIntroduction:\nThe Forklift Operator supports the packaging and warehouse departments by moving materials from the packaging floor to the warehouse, logging product into the computerized inventory and re-stocking materials on the packaging floor and assists with monthly inventory counts.\n\nJob Responsibilities:\nOperate forklifts: Safely drive and maneuver forklifts to transfer finished pallets from production areas to warehouse storage.\nLoad and unload pallets: Handle pallets of packaged goods, ensuring proper stacking and placement to prevent damage.\nMaintain workflow: Support production and warehouse teams by keeping pallets moving and minimizing bottlenecks.\nInspect equipment: Perform daily checks on forklifts to ensure safe operation; report any issues promptly.\nFollow safety protocols: Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards, including proper use of PPE and safe driving practices.\nInventory support: Assist with pallet counts, product tracking, and warehouse organization.\nHousekeeping: Keep work areas clean and free of hazards to maintain a safe environment.\n\nQualifications:\nForklift Experience, 6 months or more of solid experience, preferred\nMust be able to speak and understand English well enough to follow instructions, read basic work documents, and communicate with team members on the production floor and other departments. Must also be able to write clearly enough to record basic information on quality checks and GMP forms.\nRF Scanner or computerized inventory system experience, preferred\nAbility to count and assist with monthly inventory\nMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.\nUnderstand and follow safety rules in facility\nAbility to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment\n\nWorking Conditions:\nPhysical Environment: The position is based in a production environment where temperatures may fluctuate, with exposure to warmer areas during roasting and cooler environments in other parts of the facility.\nNoise Levels: The facility can be noisy due to machinery and equipment operation. Hearing protection is required in specific areas to comply with safety standards.\nPhysical Demands: Employees will be required to stand for extended periods, frequently lift boxes weighing up to 40 pounds, and occasionally handle larger boxes (up to 60 pounds) with assistance. Light bending and reaching are also required.\nPPE Requirements: All employees must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, steel-toe boots, hearing protection, and hairnets or other protective headgear, as necessary.\nShift Work: The role may require rotating shifts, evening shifts, and weekend work based on production needs. Flexibility in working hours is essential.\nHazards: Employees must work safely around machinery, conveyors, and potentially hot surfaces.
