In this position, you will develop and test software to ensure it meets the needs of our clients, performing code reviews and providing feedback to junior developers and engineers. Applicants should have a postsecondary degree as well as a significant amount of experience developing software using Java or C++.\r\nJob Duties Lead and oversee the software design process\r\nDevelop and test software to ensure it meets the needs of end-users\r\nContribute to the improvement of development processes and software architecture\r\nInvestigate and resolve complex technical issues and bottlenecks\r\nCollaborate with cross functional teams to debug and improve products\r\nFacilitate new software implementation\r\nParticipate in code reviews and enforce standard practices within the team\r\nContinuously learn and adapt to modern technologies and development practices\r\nMentor junior and mid-level engineers and provide technical guidance\r\nProvide technical support\r\nQualifications Should have designed, developed, maintained a complex software solution involving multiple stakeholders.\r\n5+ years of hands on experience in either Java or C++\r\nExperience with Scrum and other Agile methodologies\r\nSolid expertise on one or more relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.), NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, Cassandra, Couchbase, etc.) and distributed cache technologies such as Redis\r\nProven experience in designing critical applications that interact with several other systems internally and externally.\r\nExperience on RESTful / gRPC micro services\r\nStrong documentation, problem-solving, and debugging skills\r\nExperienced in working in a full stack environment\r\nExperience with one or more cloud platforms AWS (Preferred), GCP\r\nExcellent communication and technical influencing skills\r\nProven team player who can mentor other technical members of the team.\r\nPreferred Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (doctorate a plus)\r\nExperience in Finance, Wealth Management or similar\r\nWe are an equal opportunity employer with a commitment to diversity.
