Our customers use our tools to push the boundaries of technology and physics to deliver better products in the increasingly complex world of chip, board, and system design.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nSiemens EDA, a global leader in semiconductor design software, is seeking a customer-focused Field Application Engineer (FAE) to support its PowerPro platform for RTL and gate-level power analysis and optimization.\n\nYou will work closely with leading semiconductor customers to drive successful evaluations, deployments, and adoption of PowerPro, while collaborating with sales, R&D, and product teams.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nPartner with sales to define and execute technical strategies aligned to customer needs\nDeliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and workshops\nLead evaluations and proof-of-concepts to drive business wins\nSupport deployment and adoption of PowerPro across customer teams\nProvide pre- and post-sales technical support, including debugging and training\nCollaborate with R&D and Product teams to influence product enhancements\nQualifications\nRequired\nStrong RTL design experience (Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL)\nKnowledge of digital design, STA, synthesis, and verification flows\nA good understanding of coding styles for synthesis and simulation\nExperience with RTL power analysis and optimization methodologies\nScripting skills (Tcl, Python)\nStrong communication and problem-solving skills\nBS/MS in EE, CS, or related field\n3+ years of experience in RTL(ASIC/FPGA) design is required\nPreferred\nExperience with power tools (e.g., PrimePower, PowerArtist, or similar)\nKnowledge of low-power methodologies (UPF/CPF)\nCustomer-facing experience (FAE/AE)\nExposure to advanced SoC designs and nodes\nAdditional Information\nHybrid role with up to 20% travel may be required\nFace to face customer meetings are an essential part of this role\n\nWhy us?\n\nWorking at Siemens Software means flexibility - Choosing between working at home and the office at other times is the norm here.
