This leader will drive customer-focused technical solutions through direct customer engagement, ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality Statements of Work and Job Cost Estimates, and develop a high-performing team of Application Engineers capable of supporting the growth objectives of the business.\n\nThe role serves as the primary functional leader for Application Engineering and is accountable for driving continuous improvement in people, processes, and technology to improve proposal quality, technical accuracy, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction. Candidates with Electrical Engineering degree will be preferred.\n\nAbility and willingness to travel 25% of the time within US\n\nMinimum of 7 years of experience in application engineering or field engineering in power delivery products and systems including a minimum of 5 years of experience working with customers in oil & gas, metals, mining, paper, power generation, data center, commercial buildings or similar business segments.\n\nExperience leading geographically dispersed technical teams strongly preferred.\n\nExperience with proposal development, statement of work creation, job costing, and commercial operations processes.\n\nBackground in field service, power systems engineering, or industrial electrical services.\n\nCandidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.\n\nMore about us:\n\nABB's Service Division partners with our customers to improve the availability, reliability, predictability and sustainability of electrical products and installations.
