{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"f985b228f02a4928fdd3fe71","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/f985b228f02a4928fdd3fe71","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/f985b228f02a4928fdd3fe71","title":"Process Engineer","description":"REPORT TO: ENGINEERING MANAGER\nPURPOSE\nResponsible for supervising and coordinating activities of manufacturing technicians and providing engineering and technical support for manufacturing systems.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nPlan, direct, and coordinate activities of manufacturing technical staff; participate in personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, discipline, discharge, performance reviews, interviews and selection.\nMaintain engineering process, product and project records; produce and distribute appropriate reports.\nDirect and document meetings with manufacturing technical staff to outline plan of action, assign tasks, responsibilities, follow up and communications; ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed cost standards.\nSupervise technician responsibilities in providing sample and production molds start up, material development and other technical support.\nIntroduce new parts and processes into production; work with sample technician and production supervision to advance pilot program into production operations.\nProcess troubleshooting of injection molding processes; develop process parameters and techniques and revise as necessary to meet or exceed cost control requirements; check work methods and operations to improve quality and reduce cost.\nWork with production control to coordinate sample schedules and requirements.\nWork with customers, quality, and production to Insure consistent Interpretation and application of methods, standards and polices; deal with material, Inserts, mold and other related problems.\nEnforce prescribed safety rules and regulations; insure work areas are maintained In a neat and orderly condition.\n\nADDITIONAL SKILLS OR CREDENTIALS:\nBachelor’s degree with emphasis on Engineering preferred\nMinimum 3 years’ experience preferred\nRubber molding, adhesive coating, mold tooling and automation experience a preferred\nCAD modeling, cost estimating, equipment/tooling knowledge and project management preferred.\nLean manufacturing experience preferred\nTechnical minded\nAssertive/self-starter required\nStrong computer skills required\nStrong communication skills required\nCapable to handle multiple tasks simultaneously required\nTeamwork and problem solving skills required.\nPhysical Demands:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, use hands to position or move, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.\nThe employee frequently is required to stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.\nThe employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/ or move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.\nMust be able to lift 40 lbs.\nMust be able to be on feet for extended periods of time, up to and exceeding 8 hours.\nRobin Industries Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
