{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"f9805cd901131f94d1693026","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/f9805cd901131f94d1693026","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/f9805cd901131f94d1693026","title":"Residential Painter","description":"Summary\r\nThe Painter is responsible for painting interior and exterior surfaces of residential homes, assisting in making residential homes move-in ready and creating the best possible experience within our residential communities.\r\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\r\nProviding painting of all interior and exterior facets of the construction scope of work.\r\nMasking and covering as required to protect adjacent surfaces.\r\nPreparing all existing drywall to receive paint.\r\nPerforming minor drywall patching/mudding/sanding to prepare for paint.\r\nMixing, carrying, and applying paint to walls, ceilings, cabinetry, and trim.\r\nCleaning, protecting, and moving materials, tools, and equipment.\r\nErecting ladders and scaffolding.\r\nSupporting multiple residential sites within military installations.\r\nCoordinating with other trades.\r\nMaintaining a clean and safe workspace at all times.\r\nMaintaining routine maintenance on scope-specific equipment.\r\nAdhering to PPE requirements at all times.\r\nWorking from heights with an understanding of safety requirements for that work.\r\nOther responsibilities as assigned.\r\nQualifications\r\nHigh school diploma or GED.\r\n1+ year in the painting trade.\r\nKnowledge of paints – urethanes, epoxies, and enamels along with an understanding of the hazardous materials within.\r\nCompletion of OSHA 10 or 30, or ability to complete.\r\nPossess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment such as paint sprayers, brushes, and rollers.\r\nInitiative.\r\nFlexibility.\r\nMulti-tasking.\r\nSense of urgency.\r\nHard working.\r\nEffective communication.\r\nAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.\r\nAbility to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel.\r\nWhy Join Sevan?\r\nLive our values: Join a company that values integrity, respect, teamwork, excellence, and charity.
