You’ll be the face of 1Five to both clients and candidates, identifying, engaging, and closing world-class technical talent.This is a performance-driven role with uncapped financial potential, ideal for someone who is hungry, resourceful, and passionate about the AI talent market.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with founders, CTOs, and heads of research to define hiring needs and recruiting strategySource and engage high-caliber machine learning and technical candidates using creative, data-driven approachesManage full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, presenting, and closing candidatesDevelop and maintain relationships with top talent across AI research, data science, ML infrastructure, and computational chemistryDeliver exceptional candidate experiences and serve as a trusted career advisorTrack performance metrics (pipeline volume, conversion rates, and revenue) in our ATS and CRM systemsContribute to continuous improvement in sourcing strategies, outreach templates, and market mappingQualifications1+ years of recruiting experience within technical domains such as AI, ML, data science, or software engineeringDemonstrated success placing technical talent into early-stage or growth-stage startupsFamiliarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, Juicebox, Ashby, or similar sourcing toolsExcellent written communication, storytelling, and negotiation skillsSelf-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable with autonomy and performance-based compensationCompetitiveness and willing to learn and excel in their recruiting careerAbility to manage multiple client searches simultaneously while maintaining quality and urgencyCompensationThis role is highly commission-driven with uncapped earning potential.Base Salary + Commission.
