Our extensive experience, connections, and deep expertise across different sectors, industries, and transportation modes, means we can be counted on for process excellence that will save time and money.\nSummary\nManages all activities related to operations and development of company products by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:\nProvides input to the development of product strategy and research and development of new and emerging products.\nEstablishes production and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and obtains data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.\nProvides guidance to the development of a manufacturing process plan, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tooling and equipment needs.\nEnsures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.\nCoordinates manufacturing activities with all other functions of the organization and suppliers to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.\nReviews production and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.\nPerforms administrative activities associated with the effective management of shop operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reports.\nDetermines responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives.\nTrains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nManages up to 5 subordinate supervisors who supervise 50+ employees in the Special Projects, Shipping and Receiving, Packing, Order Processing, Routing, Inventory and Auditing departments.\nResponsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units.\nCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.\nResponsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems\n\nEducation and/or Experience\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nMinimum 5 years of warehouse operations management experience\nMinimum 1 year of cold storage experience required\nMust have experience working in production based/fast paced environment\nWarehouse performance management experience required\n\nCompany Benefits:\nMedical\nDental\nVision\n401k + Company Match\nEmployee Assistance Program\nPaid Time Off\nFlexible Work Schedules (when possible)\nAnd more!\n\n#INDEED\nPay Range:\n$80,000-$83,000*\n\nThe above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position.
