This high performing team works with clients to implement the full spectrum of data analytics and data science, from data querying and wrangling to data engineering, to data visualization, dashboarding, and business intelligence (BI), to predictive analytics, machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI). Our services enable our clients to define their information strategy, enable mission critical insights and data-driven decision making, reduce cost and complexity, increase trust, and improve operational effectiveness.\n\nConduct ETL and data quality analysis using various technologies (i.e., Python, Databricks) in cloud-based databases and ETL architecture.\n\nDevelop intuitive, attractive, and interactive data visualizations using large data sets to create dashboards, using tools such as Tableau and Power BI, for a diverse set of users with varying technical capabilities.\n\nPartner with ISSOs, system owners, and Agile delivery teams to define data requirements, curate datasets, and operationalize dashboards for mission decision-making.\n\nOperate within CI/CD and DevSecOps practices to version experiments, automate data/feature pipelines, and validate models in controlled environments.\n\nCommunicate findings in plain language and produce clear visualizations and documentation that align to stakeholder needs.\n\nWhat You Will Need:\n\nMust be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DHS \"PUBLIC TRUST\"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred\n\nBachelor’s degree\n\nTHREE (3) or more years’ experience as a Data Security Analyst or equivalent knowledge.\n\nFOUR (4) or more years’ experience in data analytics with large data sets.\n\nExperiencedesigning and developing databases with Structured Query Language (SQL) and performing complex queries.\n\nExperience developing complex data pipelines and extract – transform – load (ETL) processes.\n\nExpeirence moving and manipulating data of different types and file types using Python.\n\nExperience working in cloud-based databases and architecture.\n\nExperience performing data quality management and integration to ensure accurate and usable datasets using querying or data engineering software tools, such as SQL, Python, R, etc.\n\nExperience using business intelligence tools Tableau and/or Power BI to visualize large data sets.\n\nAbility to support on-site and hybrid projects in the DC metro area\n\nWhat Would Be Nice to Have:\n\nActive DOJ Suitability or Active Secret Clearance\n\nStrong understanding of different types of data storage.\n\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and/or GCP.\n\nAbility to think strategically and drive innovation.\n\nAbility to transform cybersecurity/GRC datasets (e.g., vulnerability and asset posture, compliance/scoring data) into reliable features and decision-ready insights.\n\nFamiliarity with Federal cybersecurity and compliance frameworks: NIST SP 800-53, NIST RMF, OSCAL, FedRAMP.\n\nExperience ingesting and analyzing signals from Tenable, Qualys, CrowdStrike, BigFix; CDM/SIEM integrations.\n\nExperience with large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines and API-first integrations; experience with micro-ETL/event-driven patterns.\n\nHands-on analytics in SQL-based environments (Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and search/feature retrieval using ElasticSearch.\n\nExperience with approved enterprise AI tools (e.g., Amazon Q, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini) within responsible AI governance. Experience developing and implementing a resiliency strategy, including data visualization tailored for law enforcement and/or cybersecurity.\n\nExperience working with system and application logs.\n\nProficiency in querying and joining acquisition, programming and transactional datasets.\n\nProficiency in programming languages such as Python.\n\nProficiency developing dashboards using Tableau or Power BI.\n\nExperience with design and build of ETL programs, interfaces, and data reconciliation processes, preferably in Databricks.\n\nFamiliarity with DevOps and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).\n\nAbility to implement basic automation and CI/CD.\n\nExperience with micro services architecture and API gateways.\n\nTechnical expertise with data models, data mining, data cleansing, and segmentation techniques.\n\nExperience with source code version control technologies such as Git.\n\nThe annual salary range for this position is $85,000.00-$141,000.00.
