This is a high-impact, execution-heavy project focused on owning and evolving one of the firm's flagship internal software products—a market-leading portfolio management and decomposition platform. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who wants to build fast, scalable, and maintainable tools that drive real-time investment decision-making and can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.Key Responsibilities & DeliverablesFront-End Development (60% Focus): Build, test, and enhance tools that attribute drivers of portfolio positions, returns, and risk. Develop front-end components using TypeScript and React, focusing on component design, state management, and performance optimization for data-heavy views.Back-End Engineering (40% Focus): Design and implement backend systems using Python, Ray, and databases for scalable, high-performance data processing.Architecture and Deployment: Implement cloud-ready, modular, and extensible solutions and optimize software systems for performance, scalability, and cloud deployment.Collaboration & Optimization: Collaborate with portfolio managers, quants, and engineers to align tools with investment workflows. Optimize and unify reporting across multiple geographies and strategies, including exception-based management reports.Required Skills & Experience4-6 years of full-stack development experience, including work on production systems.Deep expertise in Front-End Development (60% initial focus): Strong skills in TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and React.Deep expertise in Python (40% focus): Strong backend engineering skills using Python, including API design and experience with databases.
