We are currently seeking a Database Developer to support projects with the U.S. Department of Education and U.S. Department of Labor.\nKey Responsibilities/Duties:\nMaintain relational databases in AWS RDS and MS SQL Server\nDevelop new and modify existing tables in an existing relational database.\nDevelop new and modify existing stored procedures and functions.\nDevelop ad hoc queries to support custom data requests.\nImplement and maintain database backup processes.\nDevelop custom stored procedures to be used with report templates.\nWork closely with developers to tweak and optimize queries for increased performance.\nParticipate and contribute to a team approach to software development and problem solving using Agile/Scrum practices.\nMaintain accounts and access to database systems.\nProvide artifacts and screenshots of database components to the security team for inclusion in our security authorization package.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, database administration, IT or similar degree.\nExperience working with large web-based database collection and data warehouse systems.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.\n5+ years hands-on experience developing, debugging, testing, and documenting relational database systems.\nU.S. Citizenship is required.\nEEO Statement:\n\nManhattan Strategy Group is an equal-opportunity employer.
