The ideal candidate is hard working, responsible, punctual, and works well independently.This position is at a Behavior Focus Group Home with adults with developmental disabilities. As a direct care staff member, you would be responsible for assisting residents with their daily living skills including cooking, cleaning, bathing, and toileting.We have both full time and part time positions available at this group home.Shifts Available:Full-time: 12 hour shifts 8AM-8PM and 8PM-8AM every other weekendPart-time: Weekends onlyOn-call: This person will fill in on an as needed basis to cover scheduled or unscheduled time off.ResponsibilitiesAssist residents in day-to-day activitiesPrepare mealsAdminister medicationsCommunicate effectively with managementQualifications At least one year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities, children or the elderly.High School Diploma or equivalentPass Level 2 Background CheckAPD Required training preferredAbility to work independentlyPassion for caring for othersIf interested and motivated, please respond with your resume and hours of availability.
