Position Summary The Dental Technician Finisher – Metal is a highly skilled craftsperson responsible for the precise finishing, contouring, and refinement of metal-based dental restorations, with a strong emphasis on titanium and other dental metals. This role is critical to ensuring restorations meet standards for fit, function, and esthetics prior to delivery. This technician combines technical expertise with an uncompromising attention to detail, playing a key role in transforming raw or milled metal frameworks into high-quality, patient-ready prosthetics. Success in this role requires pride in craftsmanship, consistency, and a deep understanding of metal behavior within dental applications. Key Responsibilities Work with Titanium-based products Finish and polish titanium thimble bars, implants and overstructures Collaborate with design and milling teams to ensure the accurate fabrication of titanium dental restorations Perform quality control checks to ensure that finished products meet our high standards Stay up to date on industry trends and advancing technologies Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications & Requirements Formal training in dental laboratory technology or related field Certification or relevant coursework in titanium/metal finishing preferred but not required Proven experience as a Dental lab Technician with a focus on Titanium/Metal Finishing Knowledge of dental anatomy and the ability to replicate natural tooth characteristics Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems and digital workflows in dental technology Compensation & Benefits Competitive Pay with additional bonus potential Benefits including Medical, dental, vision, Life 401k with company match Paid Time off (PTO) plus paid holidays Ongoing training and professional development opportunities JB Dental Lab is an affiliate company of Catalis Dental Lab Partners.
