Also, our computing platforms support certifiable motor control functions and display functions through a unique approach to Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA).\n\nRole\nYou will be responsible for the technical delivery of computing platforms through concept design, validation and verification. This is a diverse role covering competencies within systems engineering, radio frequency systems design, system integration, test and validation/ verification. The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of these areas.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a varied role within a multidisciplinary and fast paced organization. Experience within the aerospace sector is desirable.\n\nMain responsibilities\n\nTechnical ownership and delivery of computing platforms through the entire development cycle.\n\nTechnical proposal writing e.g federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR).\n\nProvide engineering support for development of hardware systems including system integration.\n\nInterface with suppliers and other engineers to support system/ subsystem level requirements capture.\n\nDesign, development and testing of various computing platforms.\n\nLead RTCA DO-160G environmental testing activities.\n\nLead RTCA DO-178C/ DO-254 and TSO C153A design assurance activities.\n\nLead RTCA DO-297 design assurance activities.\n\nLead ARP 4754A/ ARP 4761 activities.\n\nExperience and qualifications\n\nDegree in Systems Engineering or equivalent.\n\nCircuit simulation using Matlab/ Simulink/ LTSpice.\n\nElectronics schematic capture and digital/ analogue circuit layout.\n\nRTCA DO-160G environmental testing experience.\n\nRTCA DO-178C/ DO-254 and TSO C153A design assurance experience experience.\n\nRTCA-DO-297 experience.\n\nSystems engineering experience (ideally ARP 4754A).\n\nSafety engineering experience e.g. FHA, FTA, FMEA/ FMES and reliability prediction (ideally ARP 4761).\n\nUnderstanding of motor control schemes.\n\nExperience of radio frequency system design.\n\nExcellent writing and presentation skills.\n\nMotivated and ability to solve problems under own initiative.\n\nDiversity and inclusion\nHover, Inc is an equal opportunity employer and as a young company in the aviation industry, we value diversity and need people of different backgrounds that bring a plethora of skills, perspectives, and mindsets to the table that can spur originality, imagination, and creativity.
