VCF Design & Architecture Lead","description":"Job Description\r\nCALIBRE Systems inc., and employee owned mission focused solutions and digital transformation company, is looking to fill multiple Architect Lead slots in support of our client.\r\nThe VCF Design & Architecture Lead is a senior-level, customer-facing expert responsible for designing enterprise-grade VMware Cloud Foundation solutions aligned with mission objectives and long-term transformation strategies.\r\nThis role leads end-to-end architecture from discovery through design and governance while acting as a trusted advisor in complex, mission-critical environments.\r\nPrimary Responsibilities\r\nLead customer discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and requirements gathering\r\nDesign end-to-end VCF solutions, including:\r\nManagement and workload domains\r\nNSX network & security architecture\r\nvSAN storage architecture\r\nSDDC Manager lifecycle integration\r\nHybrid cloud integration\r\nDevelop high-level and low-level designs (HLDs/LLDs), blueprints, and roadmaps\r\nDefine\r\nWorkload segmentation strategies\r\nMulti-site and disaster recovery architectures\r\nOperational governance models\r\nEstablish migration and transformation strategies from legacy VMware environments\r\nProvide leadership and governance across implementation and operational transition\r\nReview and approve designs aligned with VMware validated architectures\r\nAct as a trusted advisor to executives and technical stakeholders\r\nGuide delivery teams to ensure accurate execution of designs\r\nSupport modernization initiatives (hybrid cloud, Kubernetes, automation)\r\nRequired Skills Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance\r\nVMware Cloud Foundation Administrator certification and/or VMware Cloud Foundation Architect certification (2V0-13.25)\r\nDeep expertise in\r\nVCF, vSphere, NSX-T, vSAN, SDDC Manager, VMware Aria/vRA\r\nStrong experience designing enterprise-scale VCF/SDDC solutions\r\nExpertise in\r\nInfrastructure architecture\r\nNetwork virtualization\r\nStorage architecture\r\nHybrid cloud strategy\r\nLifecycle management\r\nAbility to translate business needs into scalable technical architectures\r\nStrong executive communication and stakeholder engagement skills\r\nCompTIA Security+ certification (active)\r\nAbility to work onsite and travel (~50%)\r\nPreferred Skills & Certifications VCAP certification (Design or Deploy) -
