As a CT imaging specialist, you will independently perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, utilize advanced equipment, and ensure precise, compassionate care for every patient.Schedule/Hours: Night shift: Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 pm - 7:30 am Qualifications & Certifications: Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) certification ARRT Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certification Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification At least 1 year of radiology experience required; CT experience preferred Desired Skills & Experience: Exceptional communication abilities for effective interaction with physicians, patients, and team members Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities in a fast-paced setting Commitment to superior customer service and professionalism Proficiency in patient positioning, image acquisition, and radiation protection Sound knowledge of anatomy and pathology as they relate to CT imaging Ability to follow all hospital policies, protocols, and quality control standards Key Responsibilities: Perform CT procedures according to physician orders and department protocols Ensure proper documentation, patient identification, and application of safety measures Explain exam details and post-procedure care to patients and families, addressing their questions and concerns Operate equipment to deliver optimal image quality with minimal radiation exposure Restock, clean, and maintain imaging equipment and work areas per infection control policies Assist with patient transport and general support tasks as needed Maintain compliance with regulatory and Joint Commission standards Utilize your technical expertise and dedication to outstanding patient care in this vital radiology role.
