This position collaborates with suppliers to resolve technical issues, explore manufacturing solutions, and support component sourcing.\n\nOccasional travel may be required to provide on‑site technical support and facilitate effective communication between the company, suppliers, and customers.\n\nKey Areas of Responsibility and Essential Position Functions:\nProduct Design and Documentation\n\nReview and interpret engineering drawings and specifications for electro‑mechanical assemblies; Quote stage through product EOL (End‑of‑Life).\n\nEnsure documentation accuracy between supplier, ECM & customer; Adherence to customer specifications & compliance to regulatory requirements.\n\nEvaluates and approves design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.\n\nMaintain and update engineering documents and data. Reviews and approves ECOs (Engineering Change Orders), NPI’s (New product Introductions) CA’s (Corrective Actions) and other related process flows.\n\nTechnical Support and Coordination\n\nActs as a technical liaison between the company and manufacturing partners.\n\nSupport manufacturing partners with technical questions and providing necessary information.\n\nAssist in the resolution of technical issues and the development of solutions for customers.\n\nIdentifies alternate/equivalent materials to navigate obsolescence and/or in support of cost savings opportunities.\n\nSupplier Collaboration and Management\n\nCollaborate with suppliers to explore and implement suitable manufacturing solutions.\n\nFacilitate communication/technical discussions between ECM & Manufacturing Partners.\n\nSupport Internal team on supplier approval activities and management/maintenance of AVL (Approved Vendors List).\n\nProject Support Activities\n\nReport, update activities and create timelines for various projects on assigned actions.\n\nCoordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.\n\nAssists with failure analysis, root cause determination & corrective actions implementation regarding product failures or other quality related concerns.\n\nSupports technically demanding quoting or project activities as assigned.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned or directed.\n\nRequirements\n\nBachelor’s degree in engineering; Electrical, Electro‑Mechanical, or related.\n\n3-5 years of experience in electro‑mechanical manufacturing or related field.\n\nStrong understanding of power cords, cable assemblies, wire harness and electrical/electronic components.\n\nExperience with regulatory standards and quality control processes.\n\nExperience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD\n\nAbility to read mechanical and electrical schematics, wire diagrams and prints.\n\nExcellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and external partners.\n\nMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)\n\nACAD Electrical\n\n3D CAD\n\nPreferred Skills\n\nProduct Design Experience\n\nExperience in project management\n\nExperience with PCBA and related product manufacturing and material requirements.\n\nMS Project\n\nBi‑Lingual English & Vietnamese\n\nABOUT ELECTRI-CORD\nAt Electri‑Cord, we proudly manufacture a broad portfolio of high quality electronics products and offer superior custom solutions.
