Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides skilled nursing care to patients in their homes under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and in accordance with physician orders, agency policies, and applicable state and federal regulations. The LPN supports patient care through assessments, medication administration, treatments, patient education, and documentation while promoting patient safety, independence, and quality outcomes. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice or current practical nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held it must be in the nurse's state of residence Current CPR certification (AHA BLS) in 30 days Must pass KDADS criminal record check upon hire Must register and successfully pass the Family Care Safety Registry upon hire.
