Machinist- part time or per diem

Job Description We are seeking a Machinist- Part Time/per diemto join our team! We are looking for someone who wants flexibility in their schedule as a supplemental job. We do not have the work load for full time so this would be the perfect opportunity for someone to come work as little as once a week on a day off or post retirement to pick up some work. It could be any day of the week, or a few days. We are very open to working with your schedule. We do need some experience in being a machinist and setting up- not just an operator. Responsibilities: Operate machine tools to produce precision parts Test completed equipment to detect and remove defects Set up and adjust programs using Milltronics conversational, M and G coding. ​ Qualifications: Previous experience in machinery or other related fields Familiarity with machining, tools and equipment Strong analytical and mathematical skills Strong attention to detail Familiarity with Milltronics and Mazak machines preferred. Requirements: - Must be able to set up machines, adjust, and run machine in addition to operating.
