This is where Chapter Next can be part of your solution.\n\nChapter Next is a 12-16 week paid returnship hosted by RMS. Candidates who have taken a professional career hiatus for at least 1+ years will be eligible to apply to this program.\n\nThe Work\nIn this role, you will perform software development tasks supporting Navy programs. The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge of coding in Java/C++ on a Linux Operating System.\n\nThis position is located at a facility that requires special access. Fields of focus will be diverse across the program and include functional and technical opportunities.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent STEM field and at least 1 year of related experience.\nDevelopment, integration, troubleshooting experience with the Linux/Unix Operating System.\nExperience in software development, integration, troubleshooting using C++, Java.\nExperience developing scripts using Bash or Python.\nMust be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance.
