These requirements shall include, as a minimum the following:\nProcedural Training\nPre-cleaning, etch, passivation and passivation testing methods.\nDaily system checks, i.e., rinse water PH checks, etc.\nMasking requirements.\nRacking techniques.\nDraw representative bath/solution for analysis.\nPerpetration of monthly metallurgical samples for analysis.\nWaste treatment operation.\nHandling, preserving, protecting, and packaging parts.\nReview of Work Orders, Inspection Techniques, Purchase Order, and Quality Records, as part of “Contract Review process.”\nGeneral department safety requirements.\nClass 2 and 3 Processor will also be trained and qualified to perform the following:\nEstablish daily etch rates using the weight loss method.\nSolution activity control.\nTank Maintenance/Solution Make up Training\nSafety Training\nHazwoper & Emergency Response training and receive a third-party certificate of completion.\n\nTrainee\nIndividual will be considered a trainee while in the process of becoming trained and qualified to Class 1.\nThe trainee will be trained and work under the guidance of the Class 1 Processor, and supervised by the Class 2 or 3 Processor.\nThe trainee shall not independently conduct part/material processing and/or review, evaluate, or report any process operation results.\n\nClass 1 Processor\nShall be able to interpret, evaluate, and review results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications. Class 1 Processor cannot designate the particular process method and technique to be used for processing hardware, and shall not independently report results of processing or inspections, and shall not sign off on jobs independently.\nMay sign off on jobs while under the direct supervision of Class 2 or 3 Processors.\nExercise assigned responsibility (from Class 2 or 3) for on-the-job training and guidance of trainee personnel.\n\nClass 2 Processor\nEstablish process techniques, interpret codes, standards, specifications, and designate the particular process method.\nCompetent to do sampling.\nVisual testing inspection as applicable.\nMay be responsible for training and directly supervising Class 1 Operators, as directed from the Class 3 Processor.\n\nClass 3 Processor\nResponsible for the entire department operations.\nEquipment calibration verification and maintenance.\nTesting and data review.\nAdjust Solutions from laboratory solution analysis results.\nTraining and qualifying etch personnel or direct Class 2 Operators to train and supervise Class 1 Operators (while maintaining ultimate responsibility).\nResponsible to ensure that all required daily process checks are performed and recorded properly.\nEnsure that etch personnel are trained and follow all required safety instructions and wear protective equipment when processing and handling hazardous materials.\n\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:\n\nMust be able to follow instructions.\nMust be detail oriented, have integrity, good work habits, and a willingness to learn new skills.\nClass 1 Processor candidates must have a minimum of 160 hours of documented training as a trainee working under the direct supervision of a Class 1 or supervised by a Class 2 or Class 3 Inspector.\nClass 2 Processor candidates must have a minimum of 320 hours of documented training as a Class 1 under the direct supervision of the Class 2 or Class 3.\nClass 3 Processor candidates must have a minimum of 640 hours of documented training as a Class 2.\nMust be able to pass Mistras Etch Qualification/Certification Examinations.\n\nESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:\n\nFrequent lifting up to 50 lbs.\n\nFulltime positions with competitive wages and benefits that include health, dental, vision and 401(k).\n\nMISTRAS strives to provide a positive work environment that values excellence in safety and quality, free from discrimination and harassment.
