It supports a remote-first culture with a strong emphasis on collaboration and a positive work environment.About the Opportunity:The PROCESSOR role is essential in managing the closing process for Home Equity Investments. This position ensures all necessary documents are collected, reviewed, and verified to facilitate smooth closings. The processor works closely with title companies and internal teams to resolve title issues and protect the company’s lien position, contributing to the reliability and efficiency of the closing process.Responsibilities:Review title reports for accuracy and eligibility.Collaborate with account managers, underwriters, and closers to finalize applications.Examine entity, trust, and divorce documents to determine curative actions.Obtain required documentation to clear title issues and secure lien position.Manage the processor pipeline within service level agreements.Communicate clearly with homeowners, title agencies, and external parties.Support pre-closing activities including insurance verification, payoff updates, fee checking, and documentation review.Achieve daily and monthly targets related to volume, title clearance, speed, and quality.Requirements:Minimum 2 years of U.S. mortgage processing or title curative experience.Understanding of title issues such as tax liens and probate.Knowledge of credit underwriting standards and ability to evaluate relevant documents.Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Sheets in a paperless environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills with customer service focus.Self-motivated, organized, and capable of remote work.Detail-oriented and adaptable to process changes.Interest in real estate and fintech sectors is preferred.Pay Range and Compensation Package:Tier 2 locations: $61,000 annual base salary.Tier 3 locations: $54,000 annual base salary.Compensation is adjusted based on skills, experience, and location.Benefits & Perks:Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.Unlimited paid time off plus 10 company holidays.Flexible remote and onsite work options.Fully paid parental leave, supplementing state Paid Family Leave.Equity participation opportunities.401(k) retirement plan.Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
