WSSD High School Credit Recovery Summer School Program Teaching Positions The WSSD High School Credit Recovery Summer Program is designed to provide District students that did not receive a passing score in a regular school year course an opportunity to make up the credit. The program will run for four weeks, Monday through Thursday and would be taught by a certified teacher familiar with the curriculum. Positions Anticipated:Teachers certificated in English Language Arts, Math, Biology, or Social Studies Responsibilities:Plan and implement instructional program for students Qualifications:Valid Pennsylvania Instructional I or II Certificate, as applicable to the positionPrior experience preferredWallingford-Swarthmore School District employee preferredAbility to relate and communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents Schedule:June 22 through July 16, 2026 (4 weeks); Monday through Thursday8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.Note: There will be one mandatory orientation meetings prior to the start of the program Salary: $45.00 per hour until June 30th and $46.80 per hour starting July 1, 2026 for supporting in person and online programming from June 22 - July 16,2026 (Monday through Thursday) New, External Applicants:Apply for position by completing application by June 5, 2026State Police Background check, FBI Background Check, and Child Abuse History Clearance will be required when responding to this posting WSSD Internal Applicants, and those who were employed in the 2025 WSSD Summer Program:Apply for position by completing application by June 5, 2026 The District retains the right to screen, interview, and hire prior to the end date of the posting.
