Your career will flourish as you are provided opportunities for development and mentorship by some of the top industry leaders.\nWhat you’ll do:\nProgram 5-axis CNC equipment including lathes, mills and routers.\nProgram CNC machines for a variety of part construction and geometry\nSelect cutting tools, tool paths, cutting speeds and feed rates appropriate for each job\nAssist in the training of CNC operators\nWork with CNC operators to validate NC programs\nSpecify and implement product and process improvement\nProduce drawings for internal and external production\nPlan machining by studying work orders, production paperwork, materials, specifications, dimensions and tolerances\nEvaluate programs for machine equipment by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.\nProcess each order per order/customer specifications\nVerify accuracy of parts by adhering to inspection process set by management\nMaintain specifications by observing and taking measurements using tape measures and micrometers; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes\nComplete preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; notifying warehouse lead and/or calling for repairs\nMaintain continuity among work shifts by documenting/communicating actions, irregularities, and needs\nPerform other duties as assigned\nWe are looking for passionate leaders who bring initiative and creativity while putting the customer at the center of all they do!\nWhat you’ll need:\n3-5 years of CAD drawing experience\n3-5 years of CNC lathe, mill, and router programming experience\nAbility to calculate requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry\nExperience with Microsoft Office\nAble to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis\nFollow all safety procedures\nHigh level of honesty and integrity\nMust be 18 years or older\nMust pass a background investigation as part of the selection process\nMust pass the drug test as part of the selection process\nMust have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.\n(Preferred) – High School Diploma or GED\nWhat you’ll get:\nCompetitive base salary + bonus (profit sharing)\nPaid vacation, holidays, sick days, and personal business days\nFull benefits package (medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability)\n401k + company match; 8% matched up to 4% (US employees)\nTuition reimbursement\nPaid parental leave\nOpportunity for growth\nWho are we?\nPolymershapes is the leading distributor of plastic sheet, rod, tube, film, and associated products with over 75 years of industry-leading heritage.
