This role also supports hybrid identity, messaging, automation, endpoint management, and related infrastructure services across data center and cloud environments.\nIn addition, this position will be responsible for proactively planning and implementing processes and procedures to ensure the systems are built, configured, monitored, and backed up using industry accepted best practices. It requires interaction, training, leading and mentoring the junior team members. This role will provide leadership and direction in the planning, organization, and execution of independent IT projects.\nDirect Reports: No\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nArchitect, administer, and optimize Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, and related security/compliance components.\nManage Entra ID (Azure AD) including conditional access policies, identity governance, SSO integrations, MFA/2FA, and hybrid identity synchronization (Entra Connect).\nImplement and maintain M365 security including DLP, threat protection, and compliance configurations.\nAdminister and maintain Exchange Online, mail flow, transport rules, and hybrid configurations.\nOversee and enhance on premises Active Directory including GPO design, DNS, DHCP, identity lifecycle management, and replication health.\nDesign and implement infrastructure automation using PowerShell and scripting methodologies.\nLead and contribute to infrastructure, cloud modernization, and migration projects.\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive documentation for architectures, configurations, procedures, and standards.\nCollaborate with other System Administrators to manage TPx infrastructure (data center and cloud-based infrastructure).\nProvide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment.\nDevelop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for system administration, usage, and disaster recovery.\nFollow and update project plans, schedules, and related project documentation.\nResearch new and maintain existing technologies.\nRespond to monitoring alerts/pages and troubleshoot problem areas as needed.\nAdhere to IT access-management and change control procedures.\nOther Responsibilities:\nCollaborate cross-functionally to develop automation and deployment strategies.\nWork effectively in a team environment.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.\n7+ years of enterprise infrastructure experience, including 3+ years focused on Microsoft 365 and cloud identity platforms.\nExpert-level administration of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and on-prem Active Directory.\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft security and compliance frameworks.\nAdvanced experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, including system installation, maintenance, patching, troubleshooting, and cross-platform integrations.\nProficiency in PowerShell and Bash scripting for automation and operational efficiency.\nExperience supporting hybrid and cloud environments, including AWS and Azure.\nSolid experience with PKI leveraging public and private CAs, reverse proxies, VMware administration, backup technologies, and secure baseline configurations.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-pressure environments while maintaining a customer-focused mindset.\nFlexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends to support maintenance or project cutovers.\nOther Qualifications:\nMicrosoft certifications (MCSE, MCP).\nExperience with VMware administration and backup technologies.\nExperience with PKI / Certificate Services beyond core administration.\nUnderstanding of or ability to script in Perl.\nExperience developing and maintaining secure baselines.\nAbility to present technical ideas in user-friendly language.\nTPx is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
