Candidates must be located in or willing to work from San Antonio, TX or Plano, TX .\n\nRole & Responsibilities\n\nLead functional, system, and integration testing activities across Capital Markets applications.\n\nAnalyze business and functional requirements to create comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test plans.\n\nExecute complex end-to-end business workflows and validate expected outcomes.\n\nCoordinate with business analysts, developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure application quality.\n\nManage defect lifecycle, including identification, tracking, reporting, and resolution.\n\nEnsure adherence to SDLC, STLC, and QA best practices throughout project delivery.\n\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.\n\nMonitor testing progress, provide status updates, and communicate risks to stakeholders.\n\nSupport User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release validation activities.\n\nMentor junior QA team members and drive continuous improvement across testing processes.\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.\n\n10+ years of experience in Functional, System, and Integration Testing.\n\nStrong experience within the Capital Markets domain, including:\n\nTrade Lifecycle\n\nClearing & Settlement\n\nBrokerage Operations\n\nWealth Management Platforms\n\nExpertise in requirements analysis, test planning, test case development, and execution.\n\nStrong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software quality assurance methodologies.\n\nExperience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.\n\nHands‑on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA and qTest.\n\nStrong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.\n\nExcellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.\n\nDesired Qualifications\n\nExperience with Pershing platforms, including:\n\nNetX360\n\nNetXInvestor\n\nClearing and Custody Platforms\n\nExperience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Testim, or similar automation frameworks.\n\nKnowledge of SQL for backend data validation and testing.\n\nExperience supporting enterprise-scale financial services applications.\n\nFamiliarity with test automation best practices and continuous testing methodologies.\n\nRelevant QA, Agile, or testing certifications are a plus.\n\nHCL is an equal opportunity employer, committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees regardless of race, religion, sex, color, age, national origin, pregnancy, sexual orientation, physical disability or genetic information, military or veteran status, or any other protected classification, in accordance with federal, state, and/or local law.
