The QA Inspector will perform inspections, interpret indications, and report results per company requirements. The Technician will be able to communicate processes, procedures and results to customers, engineering, or management staff.\nEssential Job Functions\nMaintains a safe, secure and healthy environment\nStrictly adheres to QA standards and practices and to sales order, engineering requirements\nPerforms all QA Inspections, Testing, calibration duties as assigned.\nAssist non-certified inspectors, or inspections new hires on the job site.\nCapable of testing or attaining job-required NDT certification, as needed.\nPerforms inspections for which qualified or certified.\nInterprets and reports results of inspections.\nJob Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nMinimum 6 month’s experience in inspections in a manufacturing environment.\nAbility to work in Microsoft Word and Excel\nAbility to work with computers / computerized equipment\nAbility to read, understand, and communicate in English\nAbility to follow written or verbal, technical instructions\nWork Conditions\nPosition is based at a manufacturing/fabrication, climate-controlled shop environment.\nInteraction with other Inspections employees, as well as engineers, supervisors and third-party inspectors, as needed.\nWorking in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery\nPhysical and Mental Requirements\nAbility to lift and carry 75 pounds\nMust be able to walk and stand for majority of eight-hour work day\nSufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employee to communicate effectively\nSufficient vision or other powers of observation, with or without reasonable accommodations, which permits employee to investigations\nSufficient manual dexterity with or without reasonable accommodation, which permit the employee to perform routine office duties\nSufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations to perform inspection duties in a fabrication/manufacturing shop.\nAbility to maintain focus and multitask effectively\nExcellent communication skills, written and verbal\nApplicants must be authorized to work
