The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be skilled in creating user-friendly tools that streamline business processes and improve customer engagement.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSmartsheet Development & Management:\nCustomize and manage Smartsheet solutions for project management, workflow automation, and reporting.\nDevelop complex Smartsheet workflows, formulas, and automations to support business operations.\nProvide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and training for Smartsheet users.\nCustomer Portal Development:\nDesign, build, and maintain customer portal pages to enhance the user experience and meet business requirements.\nCollaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the portals are functional, intuitive, and secure.\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to portal performance and user access.\nAdobe LMS Development:\nCreate and maintain Adobe LMS sites, which are utilized by teachers and administrators in schools to complete required trainings.\nSetup single sign-on solutions between Adobe LMS and various administrative systems.\nUtilize Adobe APIs to build custom registration pages.\nTool Integration & Automation:\nIntegrate Smartsheet and other tools with existing systems to improve data flow, reporting, and operational efficiency.\nAutomate repetitive tasks and workflows across tools and platforms.\nCollaboration & Support:\nWork closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and customer support, to ensure the tools meet organizational needs.\nServe as the primary point of contact for tool-related inquiries and provide technical support and guidance as needed.\nTesting & Quality Assurance:\nConduct thorough testing of tools and portal pages to ensure they meet quality standards and function as expected.\nIdentify, document, and resolve bugs and performance issues.\nDocumentation & Training:\nCreate and maintain detailed documentation for all developed tools, including user guides, technical specifications, and workflows.\nConduct training sessions and workshops to ensure team members are proficient in using Smartsheet and other tools.\nData Analysis & Reporting:\nAnalyze data from tools and portals to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement.\nDevelop dashboards and reports to track key metrics and provide insights to leadership.\nQualifications:\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.\nExperience:\n2-5 years of experience in tool development, IT, or a similar role.\nExtensive hands-on experience with SmartSheet, including advanced workflows, reporting, and automation. Alternatively, hands-on experience with Excel formulas, analyzing large datasets, and cross-sheet references\nExperience in developing and maintaining customer portal pages or other websites, ideally using platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or similar CMS.\nTechnical Skills:\nProficiency in Smartsheet or Excel, including advanced features.\nWeb development, Javascript, Python, XML, and API integrations.\nSoft Skills:\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.\nCurious and approaches new challenges with a positive attitude.\nStrong communicator and enjoys collaborating with team members.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.\nCan analyze and transform extensive datasets to derive insightful decision-making data for management teams.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with other project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira).\nExperience working with Excel formulas\nCompensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location.
