This person will program different CNC machines and ensure they are producing quality parts. This position requires someone who is motivated, resourceful, and has a strong attention to detail.\nCNC Programmer Responsibilities:\nProgram and support the production of our Nakamura-Tome WT-150II and Schaublin lathes.\nCreate and optimize CNC programs.\nCreate and supply necessary setup lists, prints or specific instructions.\nSupport continuous improvement.\nCollaborate with machinists to improve setups, reduce cycle times, and enhance part quality.\nQualifications:\nAbility to read and understand prints.\n3+ years of CNC programming experience.\nStrong understanding of CNC Lathe operations.\nStrong understanding of G-code.\nProficiency with CAD/CAM software(s).\nExperience with SolidWorks.\nTeam oriented and not afraid to ask questions.\nGood problem solving and communication skills.\nFamiliar with Microsoft excel.\nPreferred Skills:\nCNC Milling operation / programming.\nWell organized.\nWhat We Offer:\nPay: From $32.00 per hour\n100% paid health with Kaiser after 90 days.\nLife Insurance\nPaid time off and holidays.\nParental Leave\nClean, Temperature controlled shop. 74° all year around.\nWater and coffee are provided for the shop.\nParental leave.\nAbility to participate with CalSavers for retirement account.\nSchedule:\n5x8\nDay shift\nMonday to Friday\nSupplemental Pay:\nOvertime.\nYearly bonus.\nS&S Carbide Tool has created an environment where we know how to make hard work enjoyable.
