Pastry Chef

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. The Pastry Cook will be responsible for preparing a variety of cookies, bars, desserts, and baked goods in a professional kitchen environment. Duties - Prepare and bake a range of bars, cakes, cookies, and other desserts - Decorate pastries using icing, glazes, toppings, and fillings - Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed - Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations - Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new pastry items - Maintain a clean and organized work area Experience - Previous experience in a pastry or baking role REQUIRED - Knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment - Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen operations - Strong attention to detail and creativity in pastry design - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week Benefits: Employee discount Opportunities for advancement Store discount Schedule: Day shift Every weekend Morning shift Experience: Culinary experience: 2 years (Required) Pastry experience: 2 years (Required) Work Location: In person
