An attention to detail and correct usage of formatting, grammar, and spelling is a must. This position also requires a strong ability to learn quickly and understand technical language and terminology around the products and systems being supported. The successful candidate must be able to work independently in a team environment and be flexible around evolving needs while managing both schedule and overall commitments in order to meet project deliverables.\nThis role will perform cross-functional support between two different programs.\nCandidates should be prepared to provide writing samples.\nIn this role, a typical day will include:\nParticipating in researching and compiling technical data for use in various operations and maintenance manuals, training materials, system design documents, and other technical documentation.\nObtaining data from review of documentation, interviews with client and project personnel (SMEs), drawings, schematics, reports, and the study of published material.\nDeveloping outlines and drafts for review and approval by technical specialists and stakeholders ensuring that final documents meet applicable contract requirements and regulations.\nApplying an approved template to documentation and conducting 508 checks for final delivery.\nTranslating technical information into clear, readable documentation to be used by both technical and non-technical users.
