Commercial Security Systems TechnicianLocation: Pittsburgh, PAExperience: Mid-Senior LevelWe're seeking an experienced Commercial Security Systems Technician to join our Technical Services Group. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on system work, advanced troubleshooting, and delivering high-quality solutions for commercial clients. You'll play a key role in system implementation, programming, and final commissioning across intrusion, access control, fire, and video systems.What You'll DoInstall, configure, program, and commission commercial intrusion, access control, fire, and CCTV/video systemsProvide advanced technical support for installed security systems, both remotely and onsiteTroubleshoot system issues and ensure optimal performance at customer locationsDeliver end-user training and ensure smooth system handoffCollaborate closely with installation teams, project managers, engineers, and other technical specialistsAssist and mentor other technical support team members as neededMaintain detailed service reports and documentationInteract professionally with customers and consistently exceed customer satisfaction expectationsWhat We're Looking For3-5+ years of experience installing and servicing commercial electronic security systemsStrong hands-on experience with CCTV, access control, alarms, and video systemsFamiliarity with enterprise-level access control platforms such as Lenel (OnGuard) is a strong plusExperience with systems from manufacturers such as Honeywell or similar vendorsSolid understanding of low-voltage systems, cabling, and networked security devicesExcellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skillsHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritiesPreferred Certifications (a Plus, Not Required)Lenel or similar access control certificationsIndustry technical licenses or manufacturer certificationsWhy Join UsWork on complex, high-visibility commercial security projectsBe part of a collaborative Technical Services Group with strong technical leadershipOpportunity to grow your expertise with advanced systems and enterprise clientsStable, long-term role with a company focused on quality and customer satisfactionJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Pittsburgh, PA.Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
