Experience with ProLiant Systems is preferred\nExpertise with Driver and Firmware upgrade on data center components (ex. ROM, CPLD, iLO etc.)\nProficient in reconfiguring hardware correctly, especially CPUs.\nGood understanding of Windows, Linux, VMware and how to configure storage and network I/O cards under these OSes.\nBasic network design, installation, configuration including switches, routers, and firewalls\nKnowledge of and experience with layers 1-3 on OSI network stack\nTroubleshooting, switch configuration, port assignments, cable changes\nSome experience on any type of lab reservation system will be a plus.\nShould be able to lift 30lbs and rack/stack hardware from equipment racks\nAbility to recognize and create diagrams the server/network topology\nFamiliar with Industry standard virtualization i.e., VMware, Hyper-V\nPrior experience of managing a team of 2-3 junior members.\nProcess Skills :\nGeneral OS administration including Windows, Linux, RHEL, VMware\nHardware management, support, firmware/bios maintenance for all HPE technologies\nGeneral hands on end-to-end, troubleshooting of hardware, software, and applications\nDocument processes for delivering services, implementation, configuration, topology\nCollaborative support of R&D business equipment and provide steady state operations\nAssist with lab logistics including rack moves, changes, inventory management, storage area, shipping and receiving as needed\nProvide \"hands/eyes\" support for all devices (LAN connections, HW, servers) and related operations (for example, build, system monitoring, incident diagnostics, troubleshooting, resolution and escalation) as required to meet the organization's requirements.\nBehavioral Skills:\nGood communication and organizational skills at technical and managerial levels\nAbility to quickly react and recognize an escalation to mitigate engineering downtime or impact\nAccustomed to working with highly visible, critical projects distributed across multiple regions with aggressive timelines\nPossesses highly effective problem solving and business process analysis skills, focused on finding ways to streamline operations, utilizing people's strengths to improve processes, and make for a more effective workplace\nAdept at using Office Pro tools including Excel, Visio, Word\nWe EMBTEL, Inc one of the fastest growing IT Staffing & Recruitment Company in the US.
