This is a hands-on, career-building opportunity for someone looking to grow in golf course maintenance, turf management, and agronomy operations .\r\nAs an Assistant-in-Training, you'll be fully immersed in the day-to-day operations of maintaining a high-level private golf course. You'll work directly with the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent , gaining real-world experience and leadership exposure while helping deliver exceptional course conditions for our members and guests.\r\nIf you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in detail-oriented work, and want to build a long-term career in the golf or turf industry—this is the role for you.\r\nWhat You'll Do • Operate turf maintenance equipment (greens mowers, fairway mowers, tee mowers, rough mowers, rollers, bunker rakes, topdressers, etc.)\r\n* Assist with hand watering and daily course conditioning tasks\r\n* Apply fertilizers and pesticides in accordance with safety and agronomic standards\r\n* Support irrigation system audits, maintenance, and repairs\r\n* Assist in managing small crews and daily task execution\r\n* Maintain course presentation standards across all playing surfaces\r\n* Work closely with leadership to learn systems, processes, and agronomy best practices\r\nWhat We're Looking For • Interest in golf course maintenance, turf management, or landscaping\r\n* Golf course or landscaping experience preferred\r\n* Leadership experience or interest in team development is a plus\r\n* Strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions\r\n* Detail-oriented with pride in producing high-quality results\r\n* Dependable, coachable, and eager to learn\r\nCompensation & Benefits • $17 – $20 per hour (based on experience)\r\n* Health Insurance\r\n* 401(k)\r\n* Paid Time Off (PTO)\r\n* Golfing privileges\r\n* Uniforms provided\r\n* Chapter dues covered\r\n* Continuing education and seminar support\r\nAbout The Legends Country Club The Legends Country Club is a premier 27-hole private golf facility located in Eureka, Missouri and owned by Heritage Golf Group.\r\nOriginally designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. , the club opened in 1988 with 18 holes, followed by the Ridge 9 designed by Gary Kern in 1994.
