Position SummaryThe General Manager (GM) at HOODZ is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company owned franchise operation, including sales, customer service, operations, financial performance, and team leadership. The GM ensures the business delivers high-quality commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning services while maintaining compliance with safety and industry standards.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations ManagementOversee daily operations of exhaust system cleaning servicesEnsure all work meets NFPA 96 fire safety standards and company guidelinesManage scheduling, logistics, and job completion timelinesMaintain equipment, vehicles, and inventorySales & Business DevelopmentDrive local sales growth through networking and relationship buildingDevelop partnerships with restaurants, facilities, and property managersPrepare estimates, proposals, and service agreementsMonitor and manage sales pipeline and revenue goalsCustomer ServiceMaintain strong client relationships and ensure high satisfactionAddress customer concerns and resolve issues promptlyConduct follow-ups and ensure service quality standards are metFinancial ManagementManage budget, P&L, and cost controlsTrack revenue, expenses, and profitabilityEnsure accurate billing, invoicing, and collectionsMeet or exceed financial performance targetsTeam Leadership & HRRecruit, hire, train, and supervise technicians and office staffSet performance expectations and conduct evaluationsPromote a safety-first cultureEnsure compliance with labor laws and company policiesCompliance & SafetyEnsure all services comply with NFPA 96 and local fire codesEnforce workplace safety standards and proper use of PPEMaintain required licenses, certifications, and insuranceQualificationsBachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field (preferred)3-5+ years of management or operations experienceExperience in service-based industries (cleaning, restoration, facilities, or similar) preferredStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsSales and business development experienceFinancial acumen (budgeting, P&L management)Valid driver’s licenseKey SkillsLeadership and team buildingSales and negotiationProblem-solving and decision-makingTime management and multitaskingCustomer relationship managementOperational efficiencyWork EnvironmentCombination of office and field workMay require evening or overnight supervision (common in kitchen exhaust cleaning)Occasional lifting, climbing, and working in industrial environmentsCompensationBase salary + performance bonusBenefits include health insurance, PTO, 401k and many additional benefits
