We do this by being deeply knowledgeable, fully capable, and always dependable, and our associates are the driving force behind this commitment.\n\nJob Summary\n\nSupervise the Inventory Control Team responsible for receiving product from vendors, quality control, maintaining the daily schedule of audits, managing inventory reports and helping ensure the overall accuracy of the warehouse inventory.\n\nMajor Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities\n\nResponsible for the meeting departmental budget goals, service levels and accuracy goals.\nRecords all adjustments, pallet audits, store discrepancies and warehouse pulling discrepancies and reports them weekly.\nTracks discrepancies.\nEnsure 100% inventory accuracy.\nReceives products from vendors to check for quality.\nTrain Inventory Control Clerks.\nCoordinate and develop inventory analysis process.\nRecommends improvement to departmental processes and procedures.\n\nNature and Scope\n\nExperience provides solutions.\nEnsures that work is performed consistently with company policies and procedures.\nLeads a group or team of support, craft, or lower level professional associates.\n\nWork Environment\n\nTypically located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.\nMust continuously stand or walk or regularly requires lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).\nTypically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.\n\nEducation and Experience\n\nTypically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 5+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification.
