This role involves overseeing daily operations, resolving conflicts, and ensuring that team members are held accountable for their tasks.\nResponsibilities Include:\nEnsure safety and quality standards are met consistently.\nVerify that team members are washing hands correctly and adhering to standards.\nComplete food safety checklists regularly.\nCoach team members through conflicts and be a role model.\nHold team members accountable for \"Own your zone\" tasks.\nConduct zone walks to ensure tasks are being completed.\nReview deployment chart and ensure team members are in the right places.\nExecute back-of-house (BOH) shift change procedures.\nComplete assessments of each zone.\nPlan and assign breaks for team members.\nPost daily goals and use the SWS form.\nEnsure all dishes and back-of-house areas are clean.\nRequired Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:\nStrong leadership skills to coach and guide team members.\nAbility to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.\nHold team members accountable and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.\nKnowledge of safety and quality standards in the food industry.\nAbility to complete food safety checklists and verify adherence to standards.\nStrong organizational skills to execute shift changes and zone assessments.\nAbility to review deployment charts and plan team member breaks effectively.\n\nOther Attributes:\nMust be a self-starter, process and solutions focused\nEnthusiastic and strong driver of the company’s Mission and Core Values\nAction oriented\nIndependent problem solver\n\nBenefits:\nMedical Insurance –Based upon hour worked, may be eligible after one year.\n401K Plan – Eligible after one year.\nVacation – One week after one year.\nSick Leave – Granted per State requirement.\n\nPhysical Demands:\nWithstand temperatures of 0 degrees Fahrenheit or less and 100 degrees Fahrenheit or more.\nMove throughout the restaurant for extended periods (up to 10-12 hours per day).\nMove 50 lbs. for distances of up to 10 feet.\nBalance and move up to 25 lbs. for distances of up to 50 feet.\nUnderstand and respond to team members’ and guests’ requests in a loud environment.\nStand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.\nReach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.\nTalk or hear; taste or smell.\nSpecific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.\n\nThe duties of this position may change from time to time.
