They will need to interpret both drawings as well as 3d models to produce machine instruction and tool selection to ensure both machine efficiency and accuracy.\n\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\n\nProgram CNC Machines utilizing Mastercam for both Mills and Lathes\nReview incoming job orders and prepare programs per revision\nThe ability to work with machinists to produce efficient and accurate programs with existing equipment\nPerform file maintenance\nPerform First Article Inspection, including molds and segment inspection as required\nEnter SPC jobs into the computer\nCollect SPC data on the computer\nSend and retrieve programs from the main computer\nComplete daily paperwork\nAbility to set-up mills and lathes\nPerform complete inspection of parts\nRead blue prints\nCrosstrain in other areas as needed\nClean work areas\nFollow both verbal and written instructions\nAdhere to 5S Standards\nAdhere to all company policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, policies for attendance and punctuality and standards for safety\n\nOther Duties:\n\nOther duties based on the needs of the Machine Shop\n\nThe preceding functions have been provided as examples of the types of work performed by employees assigned to this job classification.
