leads and influences cross‑functional teams and stakeholder relationships.\nEssential Functions Independently builds, maintains, and documents infrastructure components for work assigned; performs reviews for all levels of engineer.\nDesigns solutions for overall health, performance, and availability and actively works to resolve system and client experience impacts for one or more environments, applications, or platforms.\nAssigns work, mentors, and trains junior engineers; welcomes and encourages upward feedback and perspectives from all levels of engineer.\nAdvocates for new technology and improvements that reduce expenses and/or improve efficiency; works cross‑functionally to find synergies.\nRecommends and influences IT standards (e.g., information security, audit, compliance, etc.).\nAssists in the development of strategies for building and maintaining new and existing solutions and capabilities.\nCreates technical documentation, specifications, and project artifacts to deliver: mature monitoring, improved resiliency, and high availability.\nProposes high‑level infrastructure architectural guidelines.\nFormulates and designs technical solutions to meet business needs and communicates cross‑functionally to ensure viability of solutions.\nPosition may require after‑hours/on‑call work, as needed and directed by management.\nPerforms other duties as assigned; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments regarding prioritization and time allocation.\nExtensive experience with effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through appropriate communication behaviors.\nExtensive experience with the decision‑making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.\nWorking knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company’s business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.\nWorking knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.\nBasic understanding of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1‑2 years), and strategic (3‑5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.\nExtensive experience with technical troubleshooting approaches, tools, and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application, or operation.\nExtensive experience with the features and facilities of systems; ability to integrate and communicate among applications, databases, and technology platforms.\nWorking knowledge of availability management; ability to utilize strategies and tools to ensure the timely availability of business data and applications.\nWorking knowledge of agile methodologies and the agile development lifecycle; ability to utilize formal agile methodologies, disciplines, practices, and techniques for the delivery of new and enhanced applications.\nExtensive experience with Information Technology (IT) systems; ability to utilize a variety of system tools, guarantee service availability, and ensure optimal IT system performance.\nWorking knowledge of Information Technology (IT) standards and policies; ability to utilize a variety of administrative skill sets and technical knowledge to manage organizational IT policies, standards, and procedures.\nExtensive experience with emerging technologies;
