Science Teacher

Caribbean School is an English immersion, college preparatory school which provides students with a structured and challenging academic program that develops independent learners and creative thinkers who become successful, caring and global ethical citizens. We are seeking a Science Teacher, for the 2026 - 2027 school year, with fluency in English; verbal and written communication. The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in any science field and the Department of Education's Teacher Certification. Job Summary The Science Teacher will deliver engaging, standards-based instruction in assigned science courses (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, AP Chemistry and/or AP Biology), while creating a safe, student-centered learning environment that promotes curiosity and analytical reasoning. Essential Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for the assigned Science courses. Prepare students for college readiness, standardized testing, and advanced placement assessments. Differentiate instruction to address varying student skill levels and learning styles. Assess student progress through quizzes, exams, projects, and formative assessments; maintain accurate academic records. Provide academic support and intervention strategies as needed. Integrate technology and real-world applications to enhance conceptual understanding. Maintain classroom management that promotes respect, discipline, and academic integrity. Communicate effectively with parents, administrators, and colleagues regarding student progress and performance. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school activities as required.
