Whether you are coordinating resources or calculating the cost of materials, your role will help connect our customers to our vital communication services.\n\nWHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nExperience: Maintenance Technician, Field Technician, or similar work experience of at least one year\nEducation: High school diploma, valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record\nTechnical Skills: Able to use hand tools, read general system layouts for blueprints, operate appropriate test equipment (signal level meters, ohm meters, etc.)\nAbilities:\nAbility to read, write and speak the English\nAbility to use the following hand tools: electric drills, hammers, wrenches, screwdrivers\nAbility to walk over all types of terrain in all kinds of weather while carrying tools and equipment, including gaffs, ladders, and fully loaded tool belts\nAbility to safely use weight-bearing equipment (such as gaffs, safety harness and ladders) within the maximum weight limitations of that equipment\nAbility to accurately measure distances, using tapes or other measuring devices\nAbility to carry, climb and operate extension ladder, (approx. 32 ft. high and 90 pounds)\nAbility to climb poles using gaffs, hooks and climbing belt as needed\nAbility to differentiate between different sizes and colors of wires\nAbility to make cable connections in tight spaces by bending, reaching, twisting\nAbility to read general system layouts from blueprints\nAbility to operate appropriate computer or test equipment associated with position (e.g. signal level meters, ohm meters, etc.)\nAbility to work while standing 50-70% of the time\nAbility to work with small components and wires to make cable connections\nAbility to use handheld communication devices and applications\nAbility to dig in all types of soil\nAbility to drive Company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner\nAbility to operate machinery used for underground/overhead cable installation Ability to prioritize and organize effectively\nAbility to work independently\nAbility to use personal computer, mobile device and software applications\nAbility to perform job from high places (i.e. poles and roofs\nSkills: Knowledge of National Electric Code and National Electrical Safety Code, company products and services, and basic electronics\nSchedule: Must be able to work all hours and shifts as business needs dictate\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nConstruction work experience of at least one year\n\n#LI-TT1\nEFR100 2026-81607 EFR100 2026\n\nHere, our employees don’t just have jobs, they're building careers.
