This position is responsible for operating forklifts safely, transporting materials throughout the warehouse, and operating a baler to manage recyclable materials and production waste. The ideal candidate will have previous forklift experience, strong attention to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesOperate sit-down forklift (Hilo) to move materials, pallets, and finished products throughout the facilityLoad and unload trucks safely and efficientlySupply production lines with materials as neededOperate cardboard and plastic baler equipment according to safety proceduresRemove and process recyclable materials and production scrapStack, organize, and stage pallets in designated warehouse locationsPerform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance concernsMaintain a clean and organized warehouse and work areaFollow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelinesAssist with additional warehouse and production duties as assignedSkills & QualificationsPrevious forklift/Hilo experience requiredPrior baler operator experience preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environmentStrong attention to safety and detailAbility to lift up to 50 pounds as neededReliable attendance and strong work ethicAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical RequirementsStanding, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shiftFrequent forklift operation and material movementAbility to work in warehouse temperatures and production environmentsAbility to safely lift and move materials up to 50 lbsAbout Cardinal StaffingAt Cardinal Staffing, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
